Anti-Pork in VA

Posted by redvirginia on March 19, 2008

The only new congressional candidate in Virginia to sign the anti-pork pledge is Amit Singh who is seeking the nomination in the 8th district.  So far, he is th eonly conservative in that race.

Those in the 11th district should be wondering if Keith Fimian will sign the pledge.  Let’s put the pressure on Keith to act like a conservative.

Information here.

You’re definitely right about him being the only conservative in this race. It’s so refreshing.

Amit really need our help, though, because Jim Moran will be a formidable opponent. I signed up for his email alerts on his website and donated some money. I suggest anyone else who wants a better Congressman do the same.

I got word yesterday that he’s setting up a precinct captain program, so hopefully they’ll release more stuff on that soon.

    Vote Amit!

    Hey Redvirginia,
Just curious, what is it that makes you think the other guy is not a true conservative? Is it because he isn’t on the Amti-Pork list, or was it other reasons?

Thanks for keeping us posted! Keep on digging!

    Frank,

He hasn’t signed the pledge to stop pork. That is just one of many red flags that show RINO’s.

    RedVirginia,

With regards to what Frank said, Im interested in what makes you say Singh’s the only conservative in the race. Im new to the district since the 06 election. Though I agree with you on the pork assesment, what makes you say Ellmore is a RINO? Is there anything else I should know?

    Thanks.

    Eric
